Posterity Antiques was established in 1983
by David Urquhart, whose previous
experience at Christies of London and ten years of restoring country
properties combined to provide the basis for this unique and imaginative
business. With colleague Nicholas Trigg, they have built up a considerable reputation for
unusual antiques and reclamation. | |

If you were asked to describe your average
salvage yard in two words the words picturesque
and uncluttered would probably not spring to mind,
however, no two words could be more fitting to describe
Posterity Architectural Antiques, which can be
found in splendid isolation amid the inspiring Herefordshire countryside. |

However, David's first step into salvage
was more through exasperation. Initially
moving to West Gloucester to buy and renovate properties he found that
there was nowhere to buy materials for such projects. This gap in the
market provided the inspiration that formed the basis of Posterity
Architectural Antiques and Interiors. |
